Downsizing for internal combustion engines increases the demands placed on turbochargers as an essential component of the automotive industry. As a result, turbocharger manufacturers are subject to increased pressure as soon as quality testing of their products is required.
HAHN Automation has therefore developed a cold gas test stand for turbochargers, which can be fully integrated into the production line. In this cold gas test, the combustion engine is simulated in order to evaluate the quality of the respective turbocharger based on critical characteristics. The entire test is full-automatic and line-integrated.
